The One-Day PTE MasterclassFundamentals first. Then we break your score.
Two hours on how PTE scoring actually works — then two more hours turning that into templates, live practice and a written plan. By the end of the day you will know exactly which skill is costing you the most and what to do about it.
Our objective for the day — Proficient band
Under the DHA rules from 7 August 2025 these minimums are per skill — not an average. That is exactly why one weak skill blocks everything, and why we work on all four in one day.
Most students don't need more practice. They need the right diagnosis.
You practise, the score doesn't move
Repeating the same task the same way keeps reinforcing the same score leak. We show you the leak first.
One skill blocks the whole result
76 / 69 / 59 / 58 are per-skill minimums. A 79 in Speaking cannot rescue a 51 in Writing.
Templates beat improvisation
Under exam pressure you don't get creative — you fall back on a frame. In four hours you build those frames.
Forget “79 in each”. These are the real minimums.
Competent
Proficient
Superior
AHPRA (healthcare)
If even two of these are true, this day is for you.
You have sat PTE once or twice and the score still will not move.
Practice-portal scores look great — the real exam says otherwise.
You are working or studying and have no time for YouTube rabbit holes.
You do not know which of the four skills is actually capping your band.
Everyone says "do more mocks", nobody tells you what is wrong.
Your visa clock is ticking and every attempt costs around AUD 490.
2 hours of fundamentals, then 2 hours of breaking the score
How the score is really built
- The 4 skills and how partial credit moves each one
- Why good English speakers still miss 76
- Reading your score report: the 3 numbers that matter
- Your gap map: from today's score to 76 / 69 / 59 / 58
Speaking fundamentals that break the score
- Read Aloud: chunking, stress, continuity (accent is not scored)
- Repeat Sentence: memory in phrases, not words
- Describe Image: one template for every chart
- Live practice + instant correction
Writing + the shared-score tasks
- Essay: the two-template classification method
- Summarize Written Text: one safe sentence, every time
- Write from Dictation: the highest-value task in the test
- Grammar leaks that quietly cost 5–8 points
Reading, Listening and your 14-day plan
- Fill in the Blanks: collocation over guessing
- Highlight Incorrect Words + Multiple Choice traps
- Your day-by-day plan to the exam
- Open Q&A with Hafiz
Every skill runs through the same six steps
Scoring mechanism
How Pearson scores each task, and which points actually move your band.
Common-mistake walk-through
We name and demonstrate the mistakes most test-takers make in every task.
Fix it your way
We refine your approach instead of handing you a template to memorise.
Live demonstration
Every task attempted in real time — Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, SST and more.
You perform, we correct
You attempt live, the room spots the mistake, the trainer rectifies it on the spot.
Manual feedback after class
Text, voice note or video feedback on your submissions — never AI-scored.
All four skills, priority tasks first
Speaking
Six of the seven Speaking tasks feed your Speaking score (Answer Short Question feeds Listening). We attack them in contribution order.
- Describe Image — the biggest single mover, with a 25-second scaffold for charts, maps and processes
- Repeat Sentence — chunking and meaning, not note-taking in four seconds
- Retell Lecture + Respond to a Situation — one shared note-taking system
- Read Aloud — chunking, stress and continuity (accent is not scored; clarity is)
Writing
Templates alone will not reach Proficient. We build ideas, structure and the linguistic range that is actually rewarded.
- Essay — the traits Pearson scores: content, form, development, grammar, vocabulary, spelling
- Idea generation and supporting with concrete examples, without copy-paste
- Summarize Written Text — locate the real main points, one safe sentence every time
- The grammar and spelling leaks that quietly cost 8–10 points
Reading
Reading rests on three pillars: vocabulary range, grammar awareness and collocations. Focused work here lifts the score fast.
- Reading & Writing Fill in the Blanks — collocation and grammar clues over guessing
- Reading Fill in the Blanks — part-of-speech and word-form discipline
- Re-order Paragraphs — the topic-sentence anchor method
- Multiple choice — negative-marking discipline
Listening
Listening is decided by clean note-taking and finishing in time so Write from Dictation is not sacrificed.
- Write from Dictation — the highest-yield task in the section
- Summarize Spoken Text — capture phrases and context, not isolated words
- Fill in the Blanks — contractions, plurals and UK/US spelling traps
- Highlight Incorrect Words and a per-task time budget
Three feedback formats. Zero AI scoring.
Text feedback
Written corrections on your submission.
Within hours
Voice notes
Recorded audio explaining your specific issue.
Same day
Video feedback
Screen recording walking through your work.

This masterclass is not for absolute beginners.
It is built to fix the problems of students who have already sat PTE, or who already have basic Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening ability. If you are brand new to PTE, start with our fundamentals course and come back for the masterclass.
